Art Journaling with the City Chicks Oct 2025 {Zoom}
Hello October!!!
Fall is finally in the air as we continue to focus on Art Journaling with different themes using a Dina Wakely Mixed Media Journal. Each month you will receive supplies to create a mixed media toolkit that will give you an essential kit to reach for when journaling at home. For this month’s focus we will be creating a two page Halloween watercolor spread. We will use different supplies to create a fun mixed media background before adding embellishments to our page. This class is great for beginners and experienced painters. So, grab an apron and a friend and come join us!!!

Stamp Block

Adhesive (tape runner, two sided tape, and a strong liquid glue)
Clear Gesso (if you want to prep your page)
Gel Medium
Modeling or Texture Paste
Matte Black Paint
Matte White Paint
Black Posca or Acrylic Paint Pen
Black Journaling Pen (Waterproof)
Archival Ink
Paint Brushes - Round #2 and #4, Flat 1/4" and 1"
Palette Knife
Craft Heat Gun
8x10 Art Journal (if you do not purchase the Dina Wakely Media Journal)
Old Book Pages, Music, or Tissue Paper
