National Scrapbook Weekend Event Info

We are super excited to announce the newest addition to our crop calendar.  Its National Scrapbook Day Weekend and we're wanting to celebrate with you!!  We hope you can join us for a weekend of scrappin' with your friends and crafting all night long.  Whether you are local or out of town, you will enjoy a weekend of crafty time with the City Chicks!  This event will be held at Embassy Suites by Hilton Knoxville West...just off I-40 on Parkside Dr. near Turkey Creek Shopping Center.




  • $85 for a 4' space      ~OR~
  • Add-on an additional 4' of table space for a total of 8' for $30 more!


This is a "No Frills" Crop

  • You will get Cropping Space with your friends ~ half of an 8' table with the basic $85 reservation
  • Enjoy 3 full days of crafting time into the wee hours of the morning
  • Reserved seating with your friends!!!
  • FREE onsite parking
  • Ice & Water station in the crop room
  • Shopping for scrappin' supplies on-site
  • Complimentary WIFI access
  • Electrical run to each table for all your tools, laptop, cell phones, etc

Set-up and check-In begins on Friday May 3rd @ 9am and anytime afterwards.  The event ends and check-out is on Sunday May 5th @ 4pm.

What does "No Frills" mean?

If you've been to one of our previous crops, then you know we like to do ALL the things and go all out.  Normally, we'd have prizes, classes, gifts, make-n-takes, a themed t-shirt, photo booth, etc.  We thought it would be fun to just get together with our friends and just crop.... no extras.... just the necessities!  There won't be a schedule to follow.  It will just be plain ol' scrappin' and fun!  Because we all love to shop {and because we're a retail store and need to sell all the fabulous goodies} we will still have our mobile shop set up at the crop for you to run tabs.

Embassy Suites (on-site)
If you are planning to stay at the Embassy Suites for this retreat, please call 865-246-2309 to reserve your guest room with Code SAA.  You can also book your room online with our Room Rate link....  Book Here!   Scrappin' In The City will not be taking hotel reservations, so you must call or book with the hotel directly to secure your room.  Be sure to mention that you are with the Scrappin' In The City event if you call. Rooming Blocks will be available  for this event at a reduced group rate of $165 per night.  Deadline for group rate is April 2nd.

Some things to note...
Your registration serves as confirmation that you have read and understand our policies.

Payments: Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis with payment.  Please understand that we cannot 'hold' spots for you or your friends without registration & the event fee being made.  If you are registering for your friends, please make sure to let us know their name, phone and email address so they will receive all event correspondence. 

Cancellation & Refund Policy:  Due to the quick turn-around time with this event coming up so soon & due to our contracted commitments to the hotel, Refunds will not be issued for cancellations unless I have a waiting list and can fill your spot.  In the event I can fill your spot from the waiting list, a store credit will be issued for any fees paid less a $30 cancellation fee.  There will absolutely be no refunds for no-shows.  There are no refunds for weather including travel delays related to weather.  In the event of a death, we will allow you to transfer any fees paid (less a $30 cancellation fee) to a future retreat of your choice.  Transfers can only be made one time Credits not used are forfeited after one year.

General Policies:  By registering and agreeing to these terms, you hereby release Scrappin' In The City and its employees from any and all liability, claims, damages, losses, lawsuits, costs and expenses of any kind which arise out of or result from attendance in a Scrappin' In The City event. 

Children & Pets:  No children or Pets are allowed to attend the event.  They may visit, but not stay.
