Hello June!! This month we will dive into part one of a two part course on watercolor! Bob Ross often said “We don’t make mistakes, just happy little accidents” and watercolor allows for a lot of happy accidents! Watercolor is one of my favorite mediums and I can't wait to explore it with you.
Watercolor 101 will explore:
· Watercolor Supplies – Brushes, Paint, Paper
· The Color Wheel – We will be creating one in class!
· Water Control
· Watercolor Techniques such as wet on wet, wet on dry, etc.
· Brush Stroke Drills
· Color Bleeds
We will create some backgrounds that can be used in scrapbooks or Bible Journaling as frames or journaling squares. And we will finish up class with a fun, colorful, 8x10 painting using the techniques we learned during class.
So, grab a friend, an apron and come join in the fun!!
