EILEEN HULL Cozy Junk Journal {in-person class}

Junk Journals are coming to Scrappin' In The City!!!  And we're so very excited to be kicking them off with the Queen of Junk Journals, Eileen herself!!!

In this class, you will die cut, assemble and decorate the Folio Journal die
 and create insert books, a waterfall, pocket pages, flips and tuck spots. Not familiar with these terms? You are entering the world of junk journaling!  There are no rules, so whatever you create is right!

The finished Folio Journal measures 5 1/4 x 5 (closed) with a spine that adjusts from 1/2 to 3. When the journal is open fully it measures 20 wide! The die also contains an element that closes in the pages to create dimensional pockets- so versatile!

YOU choose the style, colors and your favorite papers! You could also use this die to create planners, mini scrapbooks, recipe books, December Dailys, photo books, mini-albums, memory books or art journals- its all up to you. Make them for family and friends or sell at a craft show.

We will decorate the matboard book covers with napkin decoupage and create insert books for the junk journal. You will also learn:

 how to make tassels from yarn (the easy way)
 how to make paper clip bookmarks from die cuts
 how to make a waterfall element using the Waterfall & Tags die

Eventually I realized that instead of making hundreds of one item and keeping inventory on hand, I could create just one of something and sell the design! So I started submitting projects for books and magazines. In 2008, I wrote two books: ( that was o
