Bible Journaling ~ Story Teller Workshop ~ May 2019 The Great Commission

Bible Journaling Your Story...showing God's love, redemption, and grace.  The heart behind this workshop is to empower women to walk through their life and look at all the times and ways they have seen God move.  In taking this walk they will find their voice...and, ultimately be ready to share their story with other women...enabling them to further the Kingdom of God.

May's Focus:  The Great Commission ~ Let's TACO 'bout JESUS
This month will be a super fun workshop.     We will start the class by journaling Matthew 28:19-20.
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
We will journal about how God really does expect us to share Him.  He calls us to action.  Are you ready?  We will even discuss what that might look like in our everyday life.  Your kit will include a fun stamp set from Lawn Fawn and some fun Doodlebug items.  We will stamp, make die-cuts, and use acrylic paint in our Bible.
Then, we will finish the class making a mini flip book.  The hope is that in this book we will be able to list at least 7 people we are praying for, and that we are actively looking for opportunities to share Him with them.  This will be a super useful tool that you can add to over time.  The prayer will be that someday you will get to write a praise report beside the people's names you are praying for.
Come join us for the afternoon...and, ~Let's TACO 'bout JESUS~

Get to know Missy, our Bible Journaling instructor!

Wife and mom of three.  One in college, middle school, and elementary school just to keep things interesting.  Two boys and one girl never leaving a dull moment at our house.  I have loved all things paper, pens, and markers for as long as I can remember.  Back to school supply shopping was always one of my favorite times of the year.  I have paper crafted for most of my life.  From a little scrapbooking, to zentangle, to the planner world, and many things in between.  I have tried a lot of different things, but about 3 years ago I saw a Bible journaling page on Pinterest, and I found my creative outlet.   Bible Journaling has completely changed my relationship with God's word, and I have a passion for sharing that with others.
I fell in love with Scrappin' in the City about a year ago...and, now it is my happy place away from home.  Tends to be a little quieter (ok a lot) than my own house.    I love taking all kinds of paper crafting and incorporating that into my Bible journaling.  From ink to stamps and dies it all goes in the margins of my Bible.  My hubby, kids, and serving at church keep me busy, but any down time you can find me at my messy table Bible journaling or some other paper crafting.  From junk journals to flip books I love when creativity and faith collide.  You will often find my 13 year old daughter, Josie, and my 8 year old son, Parker, right beside me.
